OpenSSL Light 1.1

OpenSSL Light is a lightweight Windows distribution of the OpenSSL toolkit, maintained by the OpenSSL Win32 Installer Team. It packages the essential runtime libraries and the openssl command-line utility, enabling you to generate and manage keys and certificates, create CSRs, convert certificate formats, test TLS connections, and perform common cryptographic operations such as encryption/decryption, signing, verification, and hashing—all without installing a full development SDK.

Designed for developers, administrators, and DevOps engineers, the “Light” build favors a small footprint and quick setup for scripting, CI pipelines, and TLS troubleshooting on Windows.
